WHAT IS A DEVELOPMENT TEAM?
The Development Team is one of the three Scrum Team members that are responsible for the delivery of their product and also a development methodology where the development stage is also known as “Sprint.”
“Think of your vision statement as a destination with a beacon. You might have 100 ways to get there, and it doesn’t matter which way you take; the point is to end there.”
ELEMENTS OF A DEVELOPMENT TEAM
These are the three types of elements in the Development Team and they are known as the Inputs, Tools and Techniques and the Output. The Input is the project management plan, that takes account on the environment factors and/or the asset process of the organization. Secondly, the Tools and Techniques focuses on the individuals and the team, preparing them on how they should handle the training, their individual and team meetings, their interpersonal and team skills and their communication technology. Lastly, the Outputs center of attention is the updates for the project and how the team is performing on their duties, and also, they can have their requests change if that is what they seek.
“The product road map isn’t fixed in stone and fully paved. It too is a living, dynamic artifact."
QUALITIES OF A DEVELOPMENT TEAM
These are some of the qualities that the development team has. Firstly, they are known as the team player because Scrum always supports everyone in a team to work together, rather than working by themselves, it is crucial to function and achieve their goals as a team. Secondly, the team must be able to have Self-motivation because it is a vital virtue for the Scrum because all the roles are permit to function on their own. Lastly, the team must be able to refactor their existing codes.
“The product road map can change. But it gives you something tangible to start with, thereby increasing efficiency.”
In conclusion, this article explains more about the Development teams and the reason why I believe this could be in the readers interest is because it describes how the development team three elements and continuously aligns in order to develop ‘transparency’.
