Leaders have the roles and the responsibilities to navigate the workers and ensures the company to achieve success by leading in a positive way and create the atmosphere for the employees. Unfortunately, there are many leaders who do not take their responsibilities and focus on the profit and that will costly to the company.
“If you really want to influence people’s motivation, you have to uncover their reasons for doing things, their purposes, and their causes. People aren’t going to be truly motivated for your reasons and goals.”
THE TYPES OF BEHAVIOR
Leaders in the past have certain traits that they used to stand out and now the new leaders are practicing to use those same traits to lead, these are the three types of behavior that all leaders should have. Firstly, the leader should have a relationship by building trust with the workers, and the reason for this is because this action would gain the respect a leader should have from his/her workers and it makes them proud to have you as a leader. Secondly, leaders share their vision with the workers and express their passion for that goal so that the workers would be motivated to follow and be a part of something bigger and better. Lastly, show the public what the workers have contributed to the company because leaders have to show what happens to the workers when they meet the leader’s expectations and the reward would mostly be public acknowledgement.
“Always expect the workers to do their best. It would affect the workers behaviour to have better performance and trust employees to deliver.”
AFFECTING THE WORKERS
Today leaders transform and balance the development of the business in the generation they are living in and in a business the workers would be affected by it because they seek guidance and support from their leaders, and here are the three ways that a leader can affect their employees with their behaviour. Firstly, leaders who are willing to present their workers about education shows that they are willing to see the workers develop and bring out their best selves. Secondly, the workers would influence the workers by being concern about them and their health, this shows that the workers can communicate with you and share their ideas. Lastly, the leader can influence the workers with productivity by delegating the workers tasks and decrease their productivity.
“People reach for the basic needs. To understand what drives the employees to link job activities with each individual’s personal needs and help him or her find greater motivation to perform well, we must understand them.”
In conclusion, the workers put their trust in their leader and in return the leader must guide the workers and the reason why I believe this article would interest the readers is because it tells them about how leaders can affect the workers perspective about them based on the actions of their leader.
